If there is space on base, can I still stay at Aviator Crash Pads?
Yes, per the JFTR, you can choose to stay off base at a crash pad in Altus. Your lodging rate will equal what it would cost to stay on base.

Our list of amenities is a mile long over the Red River Inn; starting with updated accommodations, pool & pool table (The Pool House), flat screen TVs and comfy couches in living room, personal flat screens in each bedroom, fully-stocked kitchens, complimentary streaming services, covered outdoor patio with propane grill, wireless printer, and two car garage including maid and lawn services for maintenance. Plus, Aviator Crash Pads is one of the only crash pads in Altus with a backyard pool. The Pear House and the Porch Swing House are great pet-friendly options with grassy, fenced yards. Our newest property, the Townhouse, has 2 master suites and seasonal access to a pool, also pet-friendly with 2 covered parking spots.
How does payment work?
To make it easy for our Crash Pad guests, we charge your government-issued travel credit card. We will e-mail you a receipt each time we bill and follow up with you to make sure the bill accurately reflects your stay.
Your Air Force daily rate covers everything- rent, utilities, maids, routine maintenance, etc. There are no out-of-pocket costs to you.
Does Aviator Crash Pads allow pets?
Yes, we are pet-friendly. And we don't charge a pet deposit or an increased daily rate for your pet.
We just ask that you be upfront with us if your pet causes any damage and clean up after them in the backyard.
What do I need to bring?
Only your belongings. Aviator Crash Pads are furnished rental homes for airmen training at Altus AFB that have everything you need. Bedrooms are fully furnished, a maid service cleans regularly and the kitchens are equipped with an extensive array of pots, pans, cooking utensils and small kitchen appliances. Plus, the outside grills are stocked with propane. Complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime are available on all TVs.
